In 2005, with the enthusiastic moral, financial and support of the late Ben Randall (a student of mine) and with technical mastery of his friend Jerry Draper, "Internalization" was published online Ben's goal was to enable me to introduce a new approach I had developed in jazz drumming education which didn't require a high level of music reading skill. Instead, it required an internalization of tiny bits of jazz drumming language in pursuit of a logically developed, ever expanding mastery of jazz drumming skills. He was one of the first students I taught this approach to. The book would have never come out without his support; and for that I am eternally grateful to Ben and Jerry.

The 1st edition has since sold out and I'm now offering the 2nd edition in a more internet friendly format, with new content that I've developed since the first edition was released.
