Here are some projects I'm currently involved in:

This is my electro-acoustic sextet featuring my music and a frontline of Bassoon, Trombone, and Vibes. We just released our debut CD on Ridgeway Records. Visit our website

We are producing two videos and our second album in August 2017: "Heroes, Saints and Clowns" on Ridgeway Records. This has been made possible because of generous grants from San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music, Creative Sonoma and many private funders.

Here's a video of Ratatet at a performance in 2017:

Michael O'Neill Quintet w/ Kenny WashiNgton and tony lindsey

Reed-man Michael O'Neil started this group to feature the band's arrangements of standards and the  amazing vocalists Kenny Washington and Tony Lindsey. This is a great straight-ahead jazz group and Washington and Lindsey aretrue vocal stars. Mike's website is here.

A modern electrified collective trio with wired and un-wired bassoon, bass and drums. Read more about this unusual, talented group here.

Jeff Denson Quartet

Bassist Jeff Denson's new quartet featuring bassoon, vocals and an acoustic piano trio. Read about this exciting quartet here.

Dan Zemelman Trio

A contemporary trio playing Dan's fresh originals as well as arrangements of jazz and pop standards. Read about Dan here.

Art Lande

My long and fruitful association with pianist /composer / provocateur Art Lande has taken numerous forms and has included Paul McCandless, Jay Clayton, Pater Barshay, Peter Sommer, Hans Holt, Erik Jekabson, Bruce Williamson and many others. Info on upcoming gigs with Art here.

Electric Squeezebox Orchestra

This contemporary big band led by trumpeter Erik Jekobsen features the compositions and arrangements of the members. We have a steady gig at Doc's Lab in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood every Sunday. Check us out here.

This band features the writing of pianist Jonathan Alford, the vocals of Maria Marquez and many of the rhythms of South America, including the Joropo, Candomble and 5/8 Venezuelan Merengue. Great fun. Here's their site.
