Drummer, composer Alan Hall worked with most of the musicians of Kwirkestra during his long career as a drummer in a diverse range of styles and creative settings.They hail from the worlds of jazz, fusion, pop, Cirque du Soliel, theatre, klezmer music and South American music.
Some of the musicians are former members of Hall’s San Francisco Bay Area group, “Ratatet”, which produced 2 albums on Ridgeway Records entitled “Arctic” and “Heroes, Saints and Clowns”. Hall was honored to receive grants to help with the production of both albums from InterMusic SF and Creative Sonoma.
